1. What this covers

This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on https://dependablecalls.com, operated by Dependable Call Exchange LLC. It complements our Privacy Policy. Cookies are small files a website can store in your browser; we keep our use of them to a minimum.

2. Strictly necessary

We do not use cookies to run the basic website. The only thing we store without asking is your cookie choice itself — a small dce_cookie_consent value in your browser's local storage so we don't ask you again. That is a functional setting, not tracking, and it never leaves your device.

3. Analytics — always on (cookieless)

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count aggregate traffic. It is cookieless: it sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, does not track you across other websites, and records only aggregate, non-identifying page metrics. It needs no consent and runs on every page.

4. Analytics — only if you accept (Microsoft Clarity)

If you accept our cookie banner, we load Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use our marketing pages so we can improve them. Clarity is provided by Microsoft, which processes the data on our behalf, and it sets the cookies below. It is off until you accept, we configure it to mask text and form input, and we do not load it on the contact, sign-up, or legal pages — so anything you type into our opt-in forms is never sent to Clarity.

5. Analytics — only if you accept (Google Analytics)

If you accept our cookie banner, we also load Google Analytics to measure aggregate traffic to our marketing pages — how many people visit, which pages they view, and where they arrive from — so we can improve them. Google Analytics is provided by Google, which processes the data on our behalf, and it sets the cookies below. It is off until you accept — the single banner choice covers both Clarity and Google Analytics — and we do not load it on the contact, sign-up, or legal pages.

6. Your choices

• Decline: choose Reject on the cookie banner. Neither Clarity nor Google Analytics loads, and none of the cookies above are set.
• Change your mind / withdraw consent: clear this site's cookies and local storage in your browser (which removes the saved dce_cookie_consent choice); the banner will appear again so you can decide afresh. You can also block cookies in your browser settings.
• Do nothing: if you neither accept nor decline, neither tool loads.

Microsoft (for Clarity) and Google (for Analytics) also publish opt-out and privacy information for their tools. Declining here, or not accepting the banner, keeps both off entirely.
